Who Would Benefit from Wearing Oasys 2-week for Astigmatism Contacts?

The Acuvue Oasys for Astigmatism 2-week daily disposable lens has been one of the best selling astigmatism contact lenses in the world, and has second generation HYDRACLEAR® PLUS technology along with a BLINK STABILIZED™ lens design that provides great comfort along with stable crisp vision.

Each pack includes 6 lenses, a 3 month supply for one eye. Anyone who wants a superior lens for astigmatism with the added benefit of UV blocking technology would benefit from the Acuvue Oasys for Astigmatism 2-week lens.

Lens Technology & Features

  • BLINK STABILIZED® Design: for astigmatism that helps provide clear and stable vision by using the dynamics of the lid, the eye, and the design of the contact lens to stop the contact from rotating in the eye. Remember, with astigmatism, there are two points of focus, and therefore, two meridians of power in the contact lens. The eyelid interacts with these stabilization zones with every blink.  The less the contact lens moves, the more consistent the clarity.
  • Senofilcon A:  a permeable silicone hydrogel lens material. This design has proved itself to be one of the most comfortable and breathable lenses out there for frequent replacement. Bonuses include that since it is meant to be disposed of every two weeks instead of every one month, the time for build up to accrue is cut in half, and the loss of a lens is less costly.
  • UV blocker†: Class 1
  • Inside-out mark: No
  • Visibility tint: Yes

Important Safety Information

Though contact lenses are a safe form of optical correction, it is only safe if all the guidelines for proper care and wear are followed.

UV-absorbing contact lenses are not substitutes for protective UV-absorbing eyewear, such as UV-absorbing goggles or sunglasses, because they do not completely cover the eye and surrounding area. Patients should continue to use UV-absorbing eyewear as directed.
