Will the Acuvue Moist forAstigmatism remain stable in my eyes?

This lens uses a BLINK STABILIZED® Design for astigmatism that helps provide clear and stable vision by using the dynamics of the lid, the eye, and the design of the contact lens to stop the contact from rotating in the eye. Remember, with astigmatism, there are two points of focus, and therefore, two meridians of power in the contact lens. The eyelid interacts with these stabilization zones with every blink. The less the contact lens moves, the more consistent the clarity.

 

Will the Acuvue Moist for Astigmatism be Comfortable?

What makes this lens so comfortable is its LACREON® Technology. It uses an embedded wetting agent, PVP (polyvinylpyrrolidone), which mimics key functions of the tear film and provides moisture at the surface and throughout the lens. It also claims an Invisible Edge Design (in other words, a smoother edge that makes the  lids run smoothly over it).

 

Does the Acuvue Moist for Astigmatism have anything else special about it?

Important Safety Information

UV Protection

UV-absorbing contact lenses are NOT substitutes for protective UV-absorbing eyewear such as UV- absorbing goggles or sunglasses because they do not completely cover the eye and surrounding area. You should continue to use UV-absorbing eyewear as directed. 

NOTE: Long-term exposure to UV radiation is one of the risk factors associated with cataracts. Exposure is based on a number of factors such as environmental conditions (altitude geography cloud cover) and personal factors (extent and nature of outdoor activities). 

UV-blocking contact lenses help provide protection against harmful UV radiation. However clinical studies have not been done to demonstrate that wearing UV-blocking contact lenses reduces the risk of developing cataracts or other eye disorders. Consult your eye care practitioner for more information.

ACUVUE® Brand Contact Lenses are indicated for vision correction. As with any contact lens, eye problems, including corneal ulcers, can develop. Some wearers may experience mild irritation, itching or discomfort. 

Lenses should not be worn with an eye infection, or eye discomfort, excessive tearing, vision changes, redness or other eye problems.
