Contacts for Astigmatism

Astigmatism is an optical condition where there are multiple points of focus. Rather than a single point of focus on the eye's fovea, as it is with perfect vision, those with astigmatism can have points of focus either in front of the fovea, behind the fovea, or both.

These are most often treated with toric contact lenses, which are made especially for astigmatism.
